Kisha Britton
With a faith-centered approach, I specialize in helping clients recommit to themselves by prioritizing their emotional health and well-being through psychotherapy and guided journaling workbooks that foster lasting healing and growth. My work supports individuals navigating depression, anxiety, stress management, and relationship challenges, offering a compassionate space to heal, reflect, and rediscover their strengths.
As a Christian-based therapist, I integrate clinical insight with spiritual wisdom, helping you align emotional wellness with your faith, values, and purpose. Whether you’re rebuilding after a difficult season, seeking clarity in relationships, or learning to manage overwhelming thoughts and emotions, I walk alongside you helping you feel seen, heard, and understood.
I’m the author of six self-published journals and workbooks designed to guide readers through personal growth and transformation. My workbooks explore powerful themes such as breaking strongholds, overcoming negative thinking, identifying fear-based and self-sabotaging patterns, reframing pain, disappointment, and healing. I also developed a comprehensive wellness journal featuring reflective prompts, habit-building tools for physical activity, nutrition, practical financial guidance, and strategies for cultivating meaningful self-care.
Journaling is a therapeutic strategy that promotes mindfulness, self-awareness and encourages a positive mindset. Journaling stimulates mental clarity by helping you organize your thoughts, thus, guiding you to make better decisions. It is a therapeutic outlet for your emotions to take up space safely and freely.
I am committed to empowering you with practical strategies, deeper self-understanding, and faith-integrated therapy that strengthens your mental health so that you can move forward with peace, confidence, and a healthier connection to yourself."

“I believe journaling is a reflective tool that helps stimulates mental clarity by helping you organize your thoughts, thus, guiding you to making decisions that lead to meaningful change. Kisha's
Educational Journey
Started at the University of North Texas, where she earned a Bachelor’s in Psychology with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis. Kisha then went on to pursued a Master’s in Social Work at the University of Texas at Arlington, graduating in 2016. Her career in mental health began with a focus on adolescents dealing with ADHD, depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, oppositional defiance, and managing impulses.
From there, she transitioned into Medical Social Work where she provided crisis intervention and emotional support to adults and families navigating complex medical conditions, hospitalizations, chronic illness, rehabilitation, and end-of-life concerns. She provided compassionate care while addressing both emotional and practical barriers impacting patients' well-being.
Kisha understands the challenges of living with chronic medical conditions and how they can deeply impact mental health, often making the journey feel isolating, overwhelming, and difficult to navigate alone.
